MEMBERSHIP DRIVE–WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO DO THIS TOGETHER

The Advertising Business Group continues to grow its membership base with Publicis coming on board this month. We have had 5 new members join this year (GroupM, MIS, Starcom, Ferrero and Publicis) and our quest is to continuously grow ABG to be a voice of the industry for the industry. We are working with partners to represent and talk about the issue of transparency at key moments in the advertising calendar. This year has been one of new beginnings, and there’s much we need to do.

ABG BECOME MEMBER OF ICAS

On Friday 6 October 2017, the Advertising Business Group, officially became the 28th member of the International Council for Ad Self-Regulation. Read more details here.

ABG @ DUBAI LYNX SEMINAR MARCH 12TH, 2018

The ABG is hosting a panel discussion at the 2018 Dubai Lynx titled “Blurred Lines – Is a lack of Transparency Undermining Consumer Trust in Brands”. The panel will focus on the changing notion of transparency in the digital age with the rise of social media influencers. We welcome all ABG members send in a panelist recommendation from their company to Charlotte Fernandes.

DISPUTES COMMITTEE JURY MEMBERS ELECTED

The ABG Board has elected a 19 members jury to sit on the Disputes Committee and who will be introduced at the Annual Event on Dec 6th.

WELCOMING MOHAMED TORKI ON BOARD THE ABG

Mohamed Torki, (Marketing Director, Mars Saudi Arabia & Gulf markets) will replace Ganesh Thiagarajan under the capacity of Professional & Development Board on the Board. His biodata can be seen at Mohamed Torki bio.
